A Bat in the Brownies
— When a little brown bat crashlands into a plate of Jimmy Z's famous brownies, Martin and Chris out set out to convince Aviva, Jimmy Z and Koki that bats are nothing to be afraid of. With bat activated Creature Power Suits, the brothers join their new friend on a nocturnal fly about, and the entire crew must come to the rescue when the bat colony's roost is destroyed by a lightning bolt. In the end the Wild Kratts crew "goes batty," as they gain a new appreciation for bat ecology, predators and insects and echolocation, and learn to love bats.

Toadal Confusion — When toads take over a new skate park, Sparks' Crew has to help the toads get to their natural habitat. They try out different materials to build a bridge that the toads can use to get home. Curriculum: Different properties of materials make them suited to different purposes.
The Potato King— Andy and the others venture into the Andes Mountains to discover that the fanstastical-seeming Potato King is real! MIDDLE GRADES

A Renewable Hope
— Hacker has finally captured those Earth brats on the Wreaker! Before he can decide what to do next, an alarm goes off...the Wreaker is out of fuel! He lands on the nearest cybersite, Ekardia, an eerie place with no one in sight and no way to contact anyone. He has only one choice: enlist the CyberSquad's help so they can ALL get back home. They find one Ekardian left behind - Ted. Everyone else left because Ekardia ran out of frixite, the nonrenewable resource they used to power everything. Now Ted lives off the natural resources around him. If Hacker and the kids are going to get home, they and their resourceful new friend will need to learn from Ekardia's past.

Sharing The Gulf, Antiquities Act, Mississippi Wetlands — In Louisiana, a diverse coalition of fishermen, chefs, restaurateurs, environmentalists and retailers have come together to add their voices to the polarized fight for shares in the natural resources of the Gulf Of Mexico. In Utah, the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument has become an iconic symbol of the Antiquities Act that dates back to President Theodore Roosevelt who started a tradition of using it to protect vast American landscapes. In the Lower Mississippi Valley, a federal program funds the creation of wetland reserve easements to convert flooded farmlands back to the original wetland habitats that were unwisely cleared decades ago.

When he tries it a little bit at a time, he realizes it is not so hard.
Quillber's Birthday Present
— It's Aviva's birthday, and Chris and Martin decide to collect shed porcupine quills to make a beautiful necklace as a gift. As they tag along with an African Crested Porcupine, they discover that animals have different ways and even some highly specialized features to defend themselves from predators. For example, porcupine quills are modified hairs, designed by nature into a deadly defense. The Kratt brothers must use this amazing defense to protect the porcupines from Zach's latest animal collection scheme.
