Early Learning Social
MPT invites you to join Early Learning Social, a series of free virtual trainings designed to help early care educators learn new approaches for integrating high-quality educational media from PBS KIDS into daily activities and lessons.
This year, each session focuses on PreK curriculum and instructional planning in nature-based learning, literacy, and the Science of Reading. The interactive, two-hour sessions also provide practical strategies, tips, and free resources to support children’s emerging media literacy skills. Join us to explore developmentally appropriate ways to plan lessons using PBS KIDS resources while strengthening family and parent partnerships.
Training Requirements
You are only eligible to earn a training certfiate and 2 COK hours by adhering to the following requirements:
- Sign in to the chat with your full name by 6:45pm.
- Attendees who sign-in after 6:45pm are not eligible to earn a training certificate.
- Attendance (time in the meeting) is tracked.
- Active participation is required through open, on-camera discussion as well as in the chat.
- Complete and submit the evaluation/assessment form. The link is shared at the end of the session.
